Mark Zuckerberg (creator of Facebook) stated at Y-Combiners start-up School.
“It’s sort of social networking version of Moore’s Law. We expect this rate [of sharing] will double every 10 years. So in 10 years from now, people will be sharing about 1,000 times as many things as they do today.”
– Mark Zuckerberg
It may seem kind of crazy but you never know. With the launch of tech like Google Glass ridiculously long and pointless videos may gain popularity as well as sharing even more funny cat videos and photo-bomb pictures. One thing that Mark forgets is the possibility of a social crash. With people being arrested in the past for certain Facebook status updates what’s to say we won’t learn from that and simply keep certain things to ourselves?
