In September, Apple came out with the statement that they are considering a launch of an online music streaming service, and apparently after this story came out Pandoras stock went down 40 percent.
Apple wants listeners to be able to but tracks as the music streams or, if they want, re-listen to what they have heard before on playlists that their service has auto-generated. Spotify may be in trouble along with Pandora. Apple could combine best of both services and make them into one application. Spotify is free with advertisements on your computer, like Pandora. But to use a mobile application you have to pay a fee of $10.
Apparently Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group Corp and Sony Corporation’s music divisions visited the headquarters of Apple and talked about the company’s radio plans.
Meanwhile, Pandora’s stock continues to plummet.
