Zynga attacks a former employee for stealing data

Zynga CityVille

Social game leader Zynga has complained, on October 12th Friday, against a former employee. Famous game CityVille head, Alan Patmore, would be left with trade secrets, including the game mechanics heart and monetization techniques. Before his departure, he simply imported 760 company files in a folder “Zynga” on its online storage Dropbox. The man now works for a competitor, Kixeye.

This accident is not new for the company : in 2009, the company had attacked four Playdom employees for theft of confidential data.
