NFL Players Reach Out On Twitter Over Tragic Death

The NFL team, Kansas City Chiefs, recently experienced a tragic loss to their team.  One of the Chiefs’ players, Jovan Belcher, recently shot and killed his girlfriend then proceeded to shooting himself in front of Chiefs coaches.  Following the incident, many NFL players reached out on Twitter to share their concerns like Tim Tebow that tweeted “My prayers go out to the entire Chiefs organization and their families” and Chad Johnson that tweeted, “hoping God give strength to the Chiefs organization.”

Despite the tragedy, the Chiefs were still forced to play as scheduled merely two days after the incident against the Carolina Panthers.  The Chiefs went on to beat the Panthers 27-21.
