Polaroid, Resurrecting Instant Photos

The world has changed and started to almost only use digital photos. For the millions of people who used to use instant cameras, this changed has made them useless and junk. Polaroid stopped production of film and instant cameras in 2008. The cameras have been given a new use with Polaroid’s project called “Impossible”. The Impossible project is a Polaroid looking camera and you set your iPhone on top and it captures the light of what is on the screen. A picture is shot out at the bottom and looks just like a Polaroid picture. The challenge with this machine was the film processing unit (FPU). The overall design of the Impossible is well made, elegant even. This gives an older piece of media new life. http://mashable.com/2012/11/06/impossible-project/Screen-Shot-2012-09-11-at-10.13.28-AM
