Redbox has announced that they will have a steraming sight that is close to Netflix. The service that they will offer is unlimited streaming and four dvds a month this will be for $8. They will also offer a Blue-ray package as well and it will be for $9 a month.

Redbox wants to compete with Netflix but, i just don’t see them ever being more dominant. Netflix has established a competitive advantage with its customers to be able to stream anywhere and where ever you want . TV shows being the most popular on Netflix. With this advantage already in place and with Netflix clientele increasing I don’t see Redbox ever catching up.
The only way Red box could be more dominant is if they get newer movies titles on there as well as t.v shows and games as well. But it should be interesting to say the least.
